Childbirth Class

A comprehensive class to educate the expecting couple about pregnancy and birth.  Includes pregnancy physiology, comfort choices in labor including breathing and relaxation techniques as well as information about epidurals and other medications in labor.  Early newborn care, basic breastfeeding and postpartum information are included.  These classes are divided into two Four-hour sessions held on consecutive Saturdays.

Infant CPR Class

Learn safety and CPR for infants and children.  A MUST for new parents, grandparents, nannies and babysitters.

Dee Davis, RYT 

Dee Davis  RYT, is a registered yoga teacher in Hatha, Prenatal and Child Yoga. She is certified to teach pelvic health through the Women’s Health Foundation as well as Resist-a-ball Yoga. She has attended workshops in various yoga disciplines, including ashtanga, anusara and vini yoga and is currently studies therapeutic yoga under Gabriel Halpern. She is also certified by Indigo Yoga for Children and has completed two levels of Radiant Child Yoga. Dee teaches Hatha, prenatal yoga, teen yoga, and Yoga Ball classes in studios around Chicago. Her classes encourage students to become in tune with their bodies, while they strengthen, align, and most important, have fun. She brings imagination, gentle understanding, humor and love to all her students—both in and out of the womb!

Pam Bogda, RNC, BSN

Pam is a registered, Certified Nurse with more than 20 years of experience in maternal and pediatric nursing.  Pam is an experienced teacher of labor and delivery nurses as well as new parents.  Her training includes a special emphasis on labor support, breastfeeding and infant CPR.  She also has a special interest in postpartum depression support as well as strategies that support family life.
